A collection plan brings together the model itself and the practical arrangements around it. Record the appearance, dimensions, handling instructions, delivery details and storage needs for the exact version under consideration.

Document the model and its appearance

Keep the model reference with the photographs used for comparison. Note the stated measurements, weight and included accessories. Ask whether pictured details are standard, optional or specific to a customized example. General descriptions of realism do not resolve those differences.

Ask about handling and storage

Obtain the instructions for the finished model and its supported positioning. Consider the space available and how the item will be moved there. Follow the applicable care information rather than assuming that a general material description determines every cleaning or storage method.

Clarify packaging and delivery details

If discretion matters, ask what packaging and shipment information will be used for the order. Check the published delivery and billing information and clarify anything not stated. Avoid assuming that neutral packaging or a particular statement descriptor is automatic.

Keep a collection record
