A short documentation checklist can make a manufacturer discussion more specific. Organize the information by model specification, production scope, customization, inspection and support, and distinguish what has been supplied from what remains unanswered.
On this page 5 sections
Model and material information
Record the model reference and version alongside the material description and care instructions. Ask which documents relate to that version. A general statement about certification or a material grade should not be treated as confirmation for a particular finished product.
Production and customization scope
List the quantity, proposed appearance changes and packaging requests. Ask which services are available for this project and what information the supplier needs to assess them. Keep production estimates and confirmed arrangements clearly identified.
Sample and inspection records
Agree what the sample or inspection discussion is intended to check. Keep photographs, observations and requested revisions together with the relevant model reference. Record which questions have been resolved and which still require an answer.
Packing, delivery and support terms
Retain the proposed packing details, destination, schedule and applicable after-sales conditions. Identify the contact responsible for questions. If a service such as a replacement arrangement or a particular delivery option has not been confirmed, leave it as an open item rather than an assumed benefit.
A clear handover
Before proceeding, check that the project record describes one consistent specification. Make outstanding decisions visible and keep later changes attached to the same record. This provides a practical handover without relying on general claims about factory experience or profitability.
